Re: Tope Awe Immigrant Status
To whom it may concern:
Tope Awe is one of the founders of the African Student Association, the 2006-2007 Co-Chair and one of its strongest contributing members. She has graciously dedicated much of her academic career to creating a safe campus climate for all students of color, an example of this being when she was the Co-President of the Multicultural Affairs Program in Pharmacy. Tope has also donated many hours to working with the disadvantaged Youth at the East Madison Community Center and with the UW-Madison PEOPLE program. She has been a catalyst for change and has provided invaluable leadership. She has given so much to the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the greater Madison community. Please acknowledge her substantial contribution to this community, her excellent academic record through allowing her to finish her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Thank you,
